HOLLAND CONSERVATION COMMISSION
Minutes of Commission meeting held on February 11, 2008.
Present:– Mary vandenBerg - Chairperson, James Wettlauffer, Howard Fife, Rolf Hilbig.
Absent: Patricia Caron, Steven Anderstrom.
7:00 PM Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:10 PM Minutes of Commission meeting held on January 29, 2008 were read and accepted by all.
7:30 PM Public Hearing for 406 Mashapaug Road. Mark Farrell of Green Hill Engineering, William and Marcia Garrett, John Hanson and Chris McCooe were in attendance. The NOI submitted was for removal of trees within 100 feet of the lake.
Based on a site survey, the Commission agreed that several White Pines could be cut down, but not the Hardwoods. Order of Conditions will be written. Hearing was closed at 7:55 PM.
8:00 PM Public Hearing for Lot 1 Mashapaug Road. Mark Farrell of Green Hill Engineering only one in attendance. The Request for Determination of Applicability for Steve Bouchard was for construction of a single family house. In addition, a determination is required whether the area is subject to jurisdiction of the Wetlands Protection Act. Further information required on plans. Hearing held open till March 4th, 2008.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
